Toppe Consulting is a family business built on a simple idea: law firms shouldn’t have to choose between affordable and effective.

Founded in 2015 in Greenville, South Carolina, we saw a gap in the market and decided to fill it. Big agencies want big retainers. They chase larger clients and treat small firms like an afterthought. DIY website builders leave attorneys frustrated and stuck with sites that look like everyone else’s.

Today, our team helps solo practitioners and small firms across the country build websites that actually bring in clients, rank higher in local searches, and look as professional as the work they do.

Jim Toppe – Founder

Jim brings the business and legal knowledge that makes our work different.

He holds a Master of Science in Management from Clemson University and teaches Business Law and Marketing at Greenville Technical College. That academic background shapes how we approach every project. We understand attorney advertising rules, compliance requirements, and what bar associations will flag.

With over 10 years in digital marketing and experience as publisher of South Carolina Manufacturing, Jim knows how to build websites designs for new and small law firms that convert worried visitors into paying clients. Not just pretty pages. Sites that actually work.

Joe Toppe – Founder & Content Director

Joe runs our content operation. His background speaks for itself.

As an Associate Producer and Writer at Fox Business Network, Joe covered the stories that move markets — Nvidia’s 242 percent surge and its role in the AI economy, GM’s $10 billion share repurchase following the UAW strikes, Microsoft’s $69 billion Activision merger, Honda’s recall of 250,000 vehicles, and Tesla’s NHTSA Autopilot probe. He also produced a recorded segment with Senator John Kennedy on his bipartisan effort to stop the SEC from building a centralized database containing the personal financial information of every American investor.

His byline has run on Fox Business, the New York Post, Yahoo Finance, Sky News Australia, PropertyCasualty360, and Fox television affiliates in Chicago, Tampa, Atlanta, Seattle, Austin, and Houston.

Before Fox Business, he was a Senior Business Journalist at Capital.com in London, covering the New York Stock Exchange and global markets for an international readership. As Managing Editor of Innovation & Tech Today, a nationally distributed newsstand magazine, he conducted cover interviews with Ricky Gervais, Dave Bautista, Paris Hilton, Ralph Macchio, and Merril Hoge. He holds a Master’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Kent State University.
